You just missed the 2008 Mardi Gras Gala/ Carnival Corpus Christi - A Celebration of Carnival from Around the World, which is a major 2008 fund raiser for Corpus Christi Literacy Council Friday, February 1, 2008. President of the board, Dr. Nancy Nelson, organized a really great event.
