Team Scrabble is a little different from individual Scrabble in that teams work with all the tiles simultaneously to fill the scrabble board.  In one round, extra letters may be purchased.   Companies buy tables of eight and enter their employees to compete with other companies for the championship.   In addition, some donors prefer to sponsor one tutor or student player, at $50 each.  Or, supporters can come for $30 just for the hors d’oeuvres and to show support.  A silent auction is held for participants to enjoy during the event.<br />
